Fortress Energy Inc. is an Alberta-incorporated company whose primary focus is exploration, development and production of natural gas
reserves in Western Canada. Its strategy is to acquire underexploited assets with stable base line reserves below market metrics and to augment production from those assets through optimization
programs and disciplined capital investment.
Recently, Fortress sold nearly all of its natural gas assets, excluding the Pine Creek and Buick Creek Areas in Alberta. There is a current production level of approximately 120 BOE/D.
Fortress has approximately $55 million of available tax pools that can be used to shelter future income.
