Directors

George Watson, P. Eng.

 

Mr. Watson holds a Bachelor of Science (Engineering) degree and MBA from Queen's University, as well as an AMP from Harvard University. Since January 1, 2002, Mr. Watson has served as the Chairman of ESPRIT Exploration Ltd., a public oil and gas company listed on the TSX and American Stock Exchange. Mr. Watson is the Chief Executive Office of Critical Control Solutions Inc., a technology application company, a position he has held since January, 2002. Mr. Watson is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of TransCanada Pipelines Ltd. Prior to this role, Mr. Watson served as Chief Financial Officer of TransCanada for several years. Mr. Watson is a director of several other public companies. In addition, he is a past director of the TD Bank and continues to serve as an Advisor to TD Commodity Energy Trading Inc.

J. Cameron Bailey, CFA 

President & Chief Executive Officer

 

Mr. Bailey was formerly a Managing Director of Network Capital and is a Chartered Financial Analyst with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary. He has worked in the energy investment business, specifically investment banking for the past 19 years. Mr. Bailey was previously Managing Director of Corporate Finance at Peters & Co. Limited, a Calgary based investment firm specializing in oil and gas and was a key member of the executive committee and the Board of Directors In 1997. He is the founder of, and has organized, the initial public offerings for a number of oil and gas exploration, production and oilfield services companies. Mr. Bailey has assisted in many growing and start-up oil and gas companies by providing advisory services, primarily for mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Bailey presently is President and CEO of Fortress Energy Inc. a junior oil and gas company, formerly known as SignalEnergy Inc. since inception, December 2003.

Donald R. Leitch

 

Mr. Leitch is a partner with the law firm of Carscallen Leitch LLP and brings over twenty years of experience in advising public companies in the resource and technology sectors. His practice involves mergers and acquisitions, public and private financings as well as advising the board of directors on governance and compliance issues. He has been and is presently on the board of several other public companies.

Joel Dryer, MBA

 

Fortress Energy is also pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Joel Dryer to the Board of Directors. Mr. Dryer brings to Fortress over 30 years experience in the finance, technology, and manufacturing industries. Most recently he has focused on microcap equity financing. Through his accomplished career, Mr. Dryer has been successful in forming relationships with Fortune 100 companies and successfully built M-Wave, Inc into one of the world's largest manufacturers of high frequency circuit boards. He was named KPMG Illinois High Tech Entrepreneur of the Year in 1992 and had a company go public on the NASDAQ in 1992, which company was named in Business Week "25 best stocks" of 1993. Mr. Dryer graduated from The University of Illinois with a BSBA , followed by an MBA from the University of Massachusetts in 1978.

Ron McIntosh

 

Mr. McIntosh has extensive oil and gas and board experience. His work experience has included leadership roles in Canada and the United States as well as internationally. He was President and CEO of Navigo Energy from 2002 until 2004 and oversaw its conversation into NAV Energy Trust and C1 Energy. Prior to that he held leadership roles including Senior Vice President and COO of Gulf Canada Resources, Vice President, Exploration and and International of Petro Canada, Executive Vice President and COO of Amerada Hess Canada, and Senior Vice President of AEC Oil and Gas. He is currently board Chairman of North American Energy Partners Inc. and a director of Advantage Oil and Gas Inc. He has been a director of Search Energy, Crispin Energy, NAV Energy Trust, Advantage Energy Income Trust, Tasman Exploration and Roccor.
