J. Cameron Bailey, CFA
President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Bailey was formerly a Managing Director of Network Capital and is a Chartered Financial Analyst with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary. He has worked in the energy investment business, specifically investment banking for the past 19 years. Mr. Bailey was previously Managing Director of Corporate Finance at Peters & Co. Limited, a Calgary based investment firm specializing in oil and gas and was a key member of the executive committee and the Board of Directors In 1997. He is the founder of, and has organized, the initial public offerings for a number of oil and gas exploration, production and oilfield services companies. Mr. Bailey has assisted in many growing and start-up oil and gas companies by providing advisory services, primarily for mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Bailey presently is President and CEO of Fortress Energy Inc. a junior oil and gas company, formerly known as SignalEnergy Inc. since inception, December 2003.
Robert D'Adamo
Vice President, Land
Mr. D'Adamo has 19 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and was most recently Senior Land Negotiator for EnCana Corporation. Prior thereto he was Vice President, Business Development, Land and Marketing at NAV Energy Trust. From 1997 to 2003 Mr. D'Adamo was Manager, Land Negotiations at Petro-Canada Oil and Gas.
Jamie Jeffs, CA
Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Finance
Mr. Jeffs was previously the VP Finance of CriticalControl Solutions Corp. - a publicly-listed technology and service provider to the oil and gas sector. Prior thereto, Mr. Jeffs was a senior manager in the Assurance division of KPMG. Mr. Jeffs is a member of the Institutes of Chartered Accountants of Alberta and Ontario and has a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo.
Jeff Shaw, P.Eng
Vice President, Engineering
Mr. Shaw is a Professional Engineer with 23 years of broad experience in the oil and gas industry. Most recently he was Vice President – Technical Resources at an A&D firm. Prior thereto he was Manager – SE Saskatchewan Business Unit at APF Energy Trust. Mr. Shaw’s background includes Reservoir and Production Engineering, and Corporate Development at mid-sized to large oil and gas firms, and Evaluations at a major consulting firm where he evaluated oil and gas properties throughout the Western Canadian Basin and many areas of the world.
